Here at Cotswold Food Hampers we like a challenge…
One of our corporate clients asked if we could assemble and pack 150 bespoke gift hampers, for us to send on their behalf to their own customers. They wanted these to arrive in time for the Cheltenham horse racing extravaganza, taking place from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th November 2020. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, this was going to be be a ‘behind closed doors’ race event.
The client wanted each hamper to contain a selection of beers and fresh seasonal food items from the Cotswolds. This included a tasty game pie and a locally produced brie. The hampers all needed to arrive on, or just prior to the start of the event. The idea was that our clients customers would enjoy these treats while watching the racing unfold in the comfort of their own homes.
Needless to say, this was a challenge that we couldn’t resist! After a few long days (and sleepless nights!) of hard team working, our little production line managed to deliver all the completed hampers into the hands of an overnight courier service. They even had to send a dedicated vehicle to collect such a large quantity of packages, all in need of a quick delivery!
